Gothic Rose Window, a Geometric Mandala with Birds

A big round rose window anchors the page, set inside a pointed Gothic arch. At its heart is a small flower with a circle in the middle, and petal-shaped panels fan out around it, each filled with heart and clover-like shapes. A ring of brick-style blocks frames the circle. Outside the window, two little birds fly in the upper corners, with puffy clouds, a village with a church steeple, and pointed trees behind them. Blossoms and leaves fill the space along the bottom and sides, with a leaf shape near the lower arch. So many small sections are a good match for kids who like detailed work and patient coloring. Deep blues and ruby reds in the petal panels will look like stained glass, with soft yellow for the center flower. Save it as a free PDF for a screen-free activity at home. Fans of Geometric coloring pages often like Romero Britto style and Mandala as well.
