Hairy Spider With Striped Legs and Fangs

Hairy Spider With Striped Legs and Fangs coloring sheet

Coloring guide

A big round-bodied spider is drawn from the front, with its rounded abdomen behind a smaller head section. The abdomen has short fur-like tick marks and a small leaf-shaped marking near the top right. The head shows a cluster of tiny dots for eyes, curved lines across the face, and several curled fangs along the bottom edge. Eight bent legs fan out around the body, and each one has band-like sections with a few little bristles. Two legs reach up high, two stretch out to the sides, and the rest angle down. The lines are bold and the spaces are large, so it works well for younger kids. Try coloring each leg segment in alternating shades to bring out the stripes, then count the legs together and talk about why spiders have eight. This free printable also gives a nice chance to practice shading fuzzy texture on the body.
