Halo Warthog Rugged Truck With Mounted Chain Gun
Coloring guide
Seen from a three-quarter front view, this rugged Warthog-style military vehicle is the whole show. A swiveling chain gun sits on a tall pedestal mount above the open rear bed, and the cab has an open frame with seats and a steering wheel. Four oversized knobby tires carry chunky tread patterns, and a winch drum sits on the front bumper. Small panels, vents and markings, including STEP and DOWN labels, a grid plate and a few numbers, give older kids who enjoy fine work plenty to do. The vehicle sits alone on white paper, which makes it a good free printable for fans of trucks and game vehicles. Olive green for the body, dark gray on the tires and gun, and bright red or orange on the little warning marks would look right. This fits right in with our Halo coloring pages — see also Adopt Me! and Skylanders.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by filling the big body panels, hood, and doors with army green, leaving the small white decals and headlight area untouched.
- 2Color the front fenders, gun shield, and turret base with moss green to add a second tone to the armor.
- 3Fill the windshield and the glass area behind the seats with sky blue, then add steel blue along the lower edges of the glass.
- 4Color the tires, gun barrel, and winch housing with dark slate gray, and fill the seats and roll bars with steel gray.
- 5Optional: Add charcoal black to the grille, tire tread details, and deep gaps, and use dark olive on the lower bracket and mount areas for depth.
