ASL Number 3 With Thumb Pointing Out

ASL Number 3 With Thumb Pointing Out coloring page

Coloring guide

A single open hand is drawn with thick, clean outlines. The index and middle fingers stretch upward in a V shape, and the thumb points out to the right. The ring and pinky fingers are curled down toward the palm on the left side. Thin crease lines mark the knuckles on the raised fingers, and a curved line near the bottom shows the base of the palm. There is no background, so the hand has plenty of white space around it. This free printable works well for a number lesson, since the three extended digits (thumb, index and middle) match the ASL sign for 3. Try coloring each of the three open digits a different color and counting them out loud, then copy the handshape with your own hand and compare.
