Thumb Meeting Bent Finger, ASL Number 8

Coloring guide
A single open hand is drawn in bold black outline with three fingers stretched upward and spread apart. The thumb curls forward to meet a bent finger in the middle of the palm, which is the hand shape used for the number 8 in American Sign Language. Fine lines mark the knuckle creases, the fingertips and the folds across the palm. There is no background, so the whole page is one big hand with lots of open space. Try coloring it in a natural skin tone, then use a different color just for the thumb and the finger it touches so kids can see which parts make the sign. It also works well as a free printable for a classroom number station, where children copy the pose with their own hands.
