Coloring guide

A tall menorah with nine candles stands at the top of this scene, with a small Star of David in the center of its curved branches. A large plain circle sits behind it. Below are two wrapped gift boxes with big looping ribbon bows, and a dreidel rests on its side at the left with a Hebrew letter on the front. In the foreground, a round plate holds a pile of jelly-filled donuts. A few are torn open to show the filling, and the dough has small speckles. The big open shapes make this easy for younger kids, while the speckles, ribbons and menorah rings give older kids more detail to work on. Try yellow and orange flames, blue and silver for the menorah, and a different pattern on each gift. It also works well for talking about the eight nights of Hanukkah as children count the candles. Print as many copies as you need for a class or family table.
