Balloons Over a Star-Spangled Flag, 4th of July

An American flag fills the background of this page, with a box of outlined stars in the top left corner and horizontal stripes running across the rest. The stars are drawn in five staggered rows of five, and a few at the left edge are cut off by the border. Two balloons float at the top right, a larger one beside a smaller one, each with a little shine mark and a wavy string trailing down behind the lettering. Across the front, bubble letters spell out Happy 4th of July!, with a big 4 and a small raised th. The wide, open letters are easy to fill in, which makes them good for younger kids. Try coloring the stripes in red and white, the star box in blue, and then picking bright, different colors for each balloon. You could also have kids count the stars and stripes while they color.
