Big sparkly eyes and an open-mouthed grin make this baby sea turtle look thrilled to be paddling across the sand. The shell is built from simple geometric sections, and the flippers carry little oval spots that are fun to fill in. Rows of wavy lines behind the turtle make the ocean, with one curling wave and a few splash droplets up in the top corner. To the right there's a small sandcastle with a tiny flag, and a ridged scallop shell rests in the bottom corner. Scattered dots stand in for grains of sand. - 1Color the turtle's head, both flippers, and the back legs with light green, leaving the small eye shines white.
- 2Fill the big shell panels with dark green, then add leaf green dots on the front flipper and the right flipper.
- 3Color the scallop shell in coral pink, working from the center ridges outward.
- 4Color the sandcastle in sand yellow, then fill its arched door with bronze brown.
- 5Color the turtle's underside pale yellow, add dark red to the open mouth, and make the flag bright red.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the lower edges of the shell and the scallop shell to give them depth.
