Park Court Bunny Bouncing a Basketball
Coloring guide
Tall floppy ears, whiskers, a tuft of fur on its head and a big open-mouth grin give this bunny plenty of personality as it bounces a basketball outdoors with one hand on the ball. It wears a sleeveless jersey, loose shorts and chunky lace-up sneakers. Behind it are a basketball hoop with a net and backboard on a tall pole, a park bench, a leafy tree and a few rounded bushes, with curved lines on the ground marking the court. Thick, clear outlines and large open areas make this free printable a good match for preschoolers and early elementary kids, and the net, ball seams and bench slats offer small details for older ones. An orange ball with a bright blue jersey and shorts would stand out nicely against green trees and bushes. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the bunny's head, arms, chest and legs with tan brown, then color the inner ears pink and the cheeks beige.
- 2Color the sky blue court floor all around the bunny, leaving the white court lines untouched.
- 3Paint the basketball orange, then add its dark lines and shading in the same orange tones, keeping the highlight areas light.
- 4Color the tank top bright blue and the shorts royal blue, leaving the white trim on the top and shorts white.
- 5Fill the trees and bushes with leaf green and forest green, the grass with lime green, and the tree trunk and bench with chocolate brown.
- 6Finish the shoes red with blue sides, the hoop pole light gray, the backboard red with a coral inner square, and the mouth coral, keeping the eye whites and teeth white. Optional: add a few darker strokes of each color along one side of shapes for depth.
