Happy Cartoon Ambulance Rolling Down the Road

This little ambulance has big round eyes and a wide open smile, and it's cruising along a road. On the roof there's a dome-shaped siren with short lines around it to show it's flashing, and a cross is drawn on the side panel. Round cheeks, a rounded bumper, a side mirror and chunky wheels make the van look cute and kid-friendly. Two puffy clouds drift in the sky, and dashed lane marks cross the road below. Because the shapes are large and open, preschoolers and early elementary kids can color them without much trouble. Red works nicely for the cross and the siren light, with a sky blue body and soft yellow cheeks. The PDF is free to print at home and there's no sign-up. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the two clouds and the windshield, filling them with sky blue for a bright, cheerful sky and glass.
- 2Color the red cross, the stripe along the side, and the siren light and its base in fire red.
- 3Fill the bumper, side mirrors, and wheel hubs with silver gray, then color the road dashes and the gaps with pale gray.
- 4Add the two round headlights in golden yellow and color the open smile with coral pink for the tongue.
- 5Finish the tires, the mouth, and the lower wheel areas with charcoal gray, leaving the eye whites, the eye shine, the roof, and the body white.
- 6Optional: Add a little extra texture on the tires and bumper by lightly layering a second coat of the same color.
