Happy Cartoon Hamburger With Big Eyes and Lettuce

A cheerful hamburger with a face sits in the middle of the page. The top bun has two big round eyes with small circles inside for shine, plus curved eyebrows that tilt upward. Its wide open smile shows a tongue, and a few small dots are scattered across the bun like sesame seeds. Below the bun there is a thick patty with little wavy marks on it, and a ruffled lettuce leaf sticks out around the edges above the bottom bun. The shapes are large and the lines are bold, so it works well for younger kids who are still building control with crayons. Try a golden brown for the bun, a deeper brown for the patty, and two shades of green for the lettuce. Once everyone is done, you could ask kids to name the burger layers from top to bottom. This free page is a fun add-on to a lesson about food or a lunchtime activity.
