Monkey Leaping Across the Page with Raised Fists

A cheerful cartoon monkey leaps across the page with both fists raised and its legs stretched wide apart as if it is running or dancing. Its mouth is open in a big smile, and it has large round ears, wide eyes, and a small tuft of hair on top of its head. A long curly tail swings out to the left, and the round belly is outlined as a separate shape in the middle of the body. The feet are drawn with simple toes, and the thick outlines make the page easy to color. Kids could use warm browns for the fur and a lighter tan for the belly, face, and ears. Since the pose is so lively, it also works well for a short lesson on animal movement, or for printing a few copies for a quiet activity table.
