Dolphin Jumping Out of the Waves Under a Sunny Sky

This grinning dolphin is caught mid-leap, with its tail still close to the water. The big round eye, curved grin and rounded snout give it a friendly cartoon face that little ones tend to love. Large water droplets splash out on both sides of the tail, wavy lines run along the bottom to mark the sea, and a plain round sun with short rays sits in the top left corner. Bold outlines and roomy shapes make it a good match for preschoolers and early elementary kids who are still building pencil control. The two side fins and the tail flukes are nice spots to practice coloring carefully. Soft blue and gray look good on the dolphin, turquoise works for the splashes and waves, and yellow or orange is an easy pick for the sun. It's a free printable PDF and there's no sign-up.
