Happy Dolphin Leaping Over a Striped Ball

A cheerful dolphin arches its body in front of a big round ball, with its mouth wide open in a smile and one eye looking up. Its long snout points to the right, and you can see a large fin on its back, a flipper reaching out to the left, and a curved tail at the bottom. The ball behind it is split into wavy bands, and small circles sit along the lines like bubbles or dots. The bold outlines and roomy shapes make this a good fit for young kids using crayons or chunky markers. Try coloring each wavy stripe on the ball a different shade, then pick a classic blue or gray for the dolphin so it stands out. This free page also works well for a quick lesson on patterns, since the stripes and circles repeat across the ball.
