Happy Kitten Jumping a Stream in Warrior Cats Style
Coloring guide
A fluffy kitten is caught mid-leap over a little stream, with big sparkling eyes and a wide, smiling mouth. Its bushy tail curls high, its whiskers stretch out, and its front paws reach ahead as if it's about to land on the next flat stepping stone. Three rounded stones sit in the rippling water, and the banks are packed with tall grass, cattails, small rocks and a few simple flowers with round centers. Tufts of fur on the cheeks, chest and tail are good spots for texture. You could make the kitten ginger orange with a creamy white chest, then use soft blues and greens for the water and reeds. Younger kids will like the large shapes, and older ones can tackle the grass and ripples. Looking for more? - stone gray
- bright green
- baby pink
- cattail brown
- warm cream
- sky blue
- sage green
- rose pink

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the whole cat with golden orange, including the head, body, legs, and the big fluffy tail, leaving the eye whites and the chest area white.
- 2Fill the cat's inner ears with baby pink and the open mouth with rose pink, then add a soft golden orange touch to the cheeks.
- 3Color the three large stones and the small stone on the right with stone gray, leaving a little white shine on the top edges if you like.
- 4Paint the stream water with sky blue in the small ripples between the stones, and add a few quick blue lines around the stones.
- 5Add bright green to the bushes, grass tufts, and flower leaves, then use forest green for the darkest grass blades at the edges.
- 6Color the cattails with cattail brown and fill the flower petals with warm cream, keeping the flower centers white. Optional: Add a light shadow under the cat with a bit of stone gray.
