Nyan Cat Style Kitten on Skis in a Snowy Pine Forest
Coloring guide
This striped kitten is racing down a snowy hill on skis, a pole in each mitten and a big open-mouthed smile on its face. It's dressed in a round polka-dot sweater and a fringed striped scarf that flutters out behind, with little boots clipped into the skis. A winding ski track curves up the slope behind it, and a smiling snowman in a pom-pom hat and scarf waits off to the right. Snow-covered pines, puffy clouds, snowflakes and falling snow dots fill the background. Big shapes and clear lines make it easy for young kids, and the polka dots give small hands some detail work. A bright red sweater with white dots looks great against cool blues in the sky and snowflakes. Print it free and add it to your pile of pages. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the cat's head and ears light orange, then add deep orange stripes on the forehead. Leave the eye whites and the whiskers white.
- 2Fill the round sweater with red and leave the white polka dots empty so they pop out.
- 3Color the scarf, gloves and boot cuffs sky blue, and the snowman's scarf and hat in red and coral red.
- 4Make the skis golden yellow, the boots navy blue with olive gold soles, and the front boot toe olive gray.
- 5Color the pine trees forest green, the small trees mint green, and the top-left cloud pale blue. Keep the snow on the trees, snowman and ground white.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading to the cat's head and sweater with a slightly darker shade of the same color for a bit more depth.
