Monkey Shaking Two Zigzag Maracas
Coloring guide
A cheerful young monkey dances while shaking a maraca in each hand. Both maracas are egg-shaped and covered in zigzag stripes, and little motion lines beside the upper one show it rattling. The monkey has a spiky tuft of hair, big round eyes glancing to the side, a wide open smile, and a round ear. It wears a short-sleeved shirt and shorts, with one foot lifted and the other bent beneath it. A long curly tail sweeps out behind. The large shapes and clear outlines are easy for small hands to color, and this free printable also gives older kids room to add pattern. Try giving each maraca a different zigzag color combination, then talk about how shaking instruments make sound and rhythm. It would suit a music lesson or a rainy day craft table.
