Birthday Party Dog With Cake and Balloons
Coloring guide
Peeking over a birthday cake with five lit candles is a smiling puppy with floppy ears and its tongue out. It wears a striped cone party hat with a pom-pom on top, plus a collar with a round tag. Both front paws rest on the table edge next to the cake, which sits on a plate and has wavy frosting with dots and scallops. Four balloons float around the dog, and curly streamers fill the gaps behind. The balloons and hat have big shapes that suit little hands, while the candles and streamers offer finer detail for older kids. Golden yellow fur looks good, with rainbow stripes on the hat and a different color for each balloon. Pick up the free printable PDF for your growing collection. - 1Start with the dog: fill the head, ears, body, paws and tail with golden orange, leaving the eye whites and teeth white.
- 2Color the party hat with lemon yellow and bright blue stripes, and make the pompom on top tomato red.
- 3Add the balloons: the top-left one in tomato red, the middle-left one in grass green, and the right one in violet purple, leaving the top-right balloon and the shine spots white.
- 4Frost the cake with bubblegum pink on the top and middle band, use pale yellow for the lower tier, and give the plate a bright blue rim.
- 5Finish the details: chocolate brown nose, bubblegum pink tongue, bright blue collar with a lemon yellow tag, and light sky blue for the table. Optional: add a little darker orange along the dog's ears for depth.
