Muddy Puddle Splash Dog in the Garden
Coloring guide
A fluffy, floppy-eared puppy jumps into a puddle with its front paws tucked up and its tongue hanging out in a big grin. Water droplets and ripples spread around the back feet. It wears a collar with a round tag, and its tail curls up behind. The garden around it is busy: a wooden fence and a leafy tree on the left, a small house with a chimney and some clouds in the back, plus bushes, rocks and flowers along the edges. Fur texture and splashes give kids lots of small areas to fill, so it fits ages 4 and up. Try golden yellow or warm brown on the puppy, a bright red collar, and light blue water. - 1Fill the dog's body, head, legs and tail with honey orange, leaving the eye whites untouched.
- 2Color the puddle and the water splashes with sky blue, leaving small white sparkles between the ripples.
- 3Paint the grass, bushes and garden plants with bright green and lime green, adding some forest green in the shadows.
- 4Color the big tree trunk with chocolate brown and the house walls with pale cream, keeping the clouds white.
- 5Add the tongue in rose pink, the collar in cherry red and the tag in sunny yellow.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shade of honey orange under the dog and deeper green at the base of the bushes for depth.
