- 1Start by filling the penguin's head cap, back, both flippers and both legs with dark gray, leaving the white face and belly untouched.
- 2Color the two feet and the beak orange, using smooth strokes for an even finish.
- 3Fill the two background hills and all the heart-shaped footprints with sky blue, keeping the snowcaps on the mountains white.
- 4Add a small coral pink tongue inside the penguin's open mouth.
- 5Keep the eye whites, the white face, the belly and the snowy ground white so the penguin stands out.
