Hatching Day: Baby Dragon Pops Out in a How to Train Your Dragon Coloring Page

Coloring guide
Beside a nest, a little boy kneels and claps with delight as a tiny baby dragon pops out of a cracked, spotted egg. The dragon has big round eyes, a wide open smile, small horns, spikes along its head and bat-like wings spread behind it. Its little claws rest on the broken edge of the shell. The egg sits in a woven twig nest, and loose pieces of eggshell are scattered in front. The boy has short tousled hair, a long-sleeved top, pants and an excited, open-mouthed grin. Bold outlines and roomy spaces suit young colorists, and the spots on the egg are fun to fill in. Soft green or purple works for the dragon, with warm browns and golds for the nest. It's a free printable PDF, so you may want a few extra copies on hand. If you enjoyed this How to Train Your Dragon page, don't miss our Barbie and Puppy Dog Pals coloring pages.
