Hawk Gliding Over Mountains in a Berry Wreath

A large bird of prey glides across the middle of a round design, wings spread wide and its hooked beak pointing right. Its tail feathers fan out on the left, and its long legs trail behind with curled talons. Behind it stand a jagged mountain peak and several puffy clouds. A thick wreath of leaves frames the whole scene, with clusters of round berries, acorns and oak leaves all the way around the edge. Try coloring the feathers in layers, with darker browns on the wing tops and lighter tans underneath, then use soft blues and grays for the mountains and clouds. Kids who like nature can also name the oak leaves, acorns and berries as they color. This free printable gives plenty of small spaces for fine pencils and one big bird for bolder crayon work.
