Soaring Ho-Oh, the Legendary Pokémon With Wings Stretched High

Ho-Oh soars through the air on this line-art page, both wings stretched high and nothing in the background to distract from the bird. The huge feathered wings are drawn in long, overlapping rows, and fanned tail feathers trail down on the left. Ho-Oh has a crest of feathers on its head, a curved open beak and a long neck. A round belly and two clenched talons are tucked in below. Because the page is blank apart from the bird, kids can concentrate on the feather details, and the big shapes are simple to fill in. A sunset mix of red, orange and golden yellow could go on the wings, with green on the neck and a bright rainbow blend on the tail feathers. Print it free for classroom time or a rainy day.
