Horse Mid-Prance in a Decorated Saddle for Girls

A graceful horse stands in profile facing right with one front leg lifted and bent, as if it is mid-prance. Its long, wavy mane sweeps over the neck and falls in loose curls across the chest, and the tail swirls down in thick ribbon-like strands. The horse wears a bridle with round medallions on the cheek, a decorative collar with scalloped, shield-shaped shapes, and a saddle with a patterned blanket that has a zigzag edge. The lines are bold and clean, so the page works well for crayons and markers. Try coloring the saddle blanket, collar, and bridle in bright contrasting colors, then keep the mane and tail in softer shades so the details stand out. It is also a nice printable for talking about the parts of a horse, like the hooves, mane, tail, and saddle.
