Hot Air Balloon Color by Number Over a Countryside Village
Coloring guide
Floating above a peaceful valley, a big hot air balloon has panels full of fun shapes to color. Hearts and stars run down the center stripes, and chevron zigzags, scalloped bands and rows of small circles wrap around the sides. In the wicker basket, a smiling child in a knit hat and scarf rides next to a happy puppy, with sandbags hanging off the sides. Down below are rolling farm fields, a small house with a fence, pine trees, a winding river with a little arched bridge, and a village with a church steeple. Mountains, puffy clouds and a rayed sun fill the sky. Bright red hearts and yellow stars stand out against soft blue sky and green fields. Print this sheet at home, no sign-up needed. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big balloon: color the wide red and blue stripes with bright red and sky blue, leaving the thin white bands as they are.
- 2Fill the sky with pale blue for the clouds and leave the background sky white, then color the mountains in light blue with their snowy tops left white.
- 3Color the countryside next: use lime green for the fields, leaf green and mint green for the hills and trees, and grass green for the bushes in the corners.
- 4Add the river in pale blue and the hot air balloon basket in khaki brown, then fill the lemon yellow and amber yellow bands at the top and bottom of the balloon.
- 5Optional: Finish with small details like the stars, hearts, and dots on the balloon, leaving them white so they stand out.
