Flaming Hot Wheels Hot Rod Leaving the Track Loop

Here comes an open-wheeled hot rod with a big exposed engine, chrome headlights and a toothy grille, shooting up out of a striped track that curls into a loop behind it. Over the car floats a wavy Hot Wheels banner with a hex nut in the middle of the lettering and flames at one end. Puffy clouds with little bones, stars and a wrench trail along the banner. Two small cars race across the top of it, a tiny van tumbles through the air and a rocket blasts off close by. Bolts, nuts, wrenches and a flaming missile are scattered around, so there are lots of small shapes for little hands to fill in. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big blue areas: fill the car body, hood, and roof with royal blue, and the clouds at the top and left with sky blue.
- 2Color the Hot Wheels logo letters and swooshes: make the letters bright yellow and the surrounding flame swooshes fire red, leaving the thin outlines white.
- 3Fill the front panels and side panels of the car with bright yellow, and add the golden yellow engine parts and striped ground at the bottom.
- 4Color the wheels and hubs in charcoal gray and fire red, and fill the gray air intake and wrench with light gray.
- 5Add the orange ramp base and track side in tangerine orange, then use pale blue for the small tail light and left flame.
- 6Optional: Leave the flame highlights, rocket tip, and rocket trail white for a bright, glowing look.
