A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big tires: fill the front and back tires with charcoal gray, leaving the wheel hub highlights white.
- 2Color the main body panels bright blue, and paint the hood, side fenders and rear wing orange.
- 3Use light sky blue for the windshield and sky blue for the roof bar and rear mirror, then fill the rims with bright red.
- 4Color the nuts, bolts, wrench head, engine block and roll bar light gray, and make the wrench handle bright red while keeping the wrench ring white.
- 5Fill the logo at the top and the Tune Up lettering with golden yellow, leaving the shine spots and the brush background white.
- 6Optional: add darker gray shading along the bottom of the tires and body to make the buggy look more solid.
