A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the large main car body, rear fender, front bumper and lower panels with bright blue, leaving the headlight shine and road lines white.
- 2Color the windshield and side window glass in pale sky blue, and the rear quarter panel and side edges in light blue.
- 3Paint the open hood interior, engine bay and side vents in pale steel gray, then add light gray to the headlight housing and engine parts.
- 4Color the flame swoosh and Hot Wheels letters, using bright red for some letters and golden yellow for others, and keep the thin white flame highlights unpainted.
- 5Fill the wheel rims and spokes with light gray and add dark gray to the front spoiler underside, keeping the headlight highlight white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker blue along the lower body edges and under the fenders for a bit of depth.
