How to Draw a Boy Holding a Crocodile Step by Step coloring page

Coloring guide

Six small drawings show how to build a smiling boy who is holding a long crocodile across his arms. The first step is just an oval face with eyes, a nose and an open smile. Next come wavy hair, a rectangle body and simple arms with round hands. Then the collared shirt, shorts and the crocodile with its open mouth appear, followed by legs and oval shoes. The fifth step adds buttons on the shirt and little legs on the crocodile. The last picture shows the finished figure in color, with yellow hair, a light green shirt, darker green shorts and a green crocodile with a yellow belly. Kids can follow along one step at a time on scrap paper, then copy the colors from the final picture or pick their own. It makes a nice practice page for learning to break a figure into basic shapes.
