How to Draw a Downhill Skier Step by Step

Coloring guide
A skier in a tucked racing crouch speeds downhill in this six-step drawing guide. The first box starts with just the round helmet and goggles. Next come a ski pole and a gloved hand, then the bent body and the curve of the back. After that, the boots and a long ski are added. The fifth step adds the second ski, the second pole with its round basket, and the boot bindings. The last box shows the finished skier in color, with a light blue helmet, brown goggles, a red and pink jacket, blue sleeves and pants, red gloves and boots, and blue skis. Kids can follow along one step at a time, then color their own version using the example. Try shading the two skis in different blues to show which one sits closer. This one works well for a winter sports unit or a quiet art break.
