Hunched Humungousaur From Ben 10
Coloring guide
Humungousaur takes up this whole page in a hunched, powerful stance, with heavy arms hanging down and fists clenched near his knees. The round Omnitrix symbol sits in the middle of his chest, ringed by bold chevron-shaped plates. His long, ridged head tilts slightly upward in a toothy grin, and a thick banded tail curls out on the left. His bent legs end in big clawed feet. Because there's no background, kids can put all their focus on the character. Wide, simple shapes and thick outlines make it easy for little ones. Cream or tan would suit the chest and belly, while deep green or purple on the banded arms and tail will make the stripes show. Save this as a free PDF for a screen-free activity at home. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the large chest, stomach and belly areas with beige tan, keeping the lines of the muscles clear.
- 2Color the arms, hands, feet and front fists with warm orange, including the upper arms and wrists.
- 3Use reddish brown for the back plates, shoulder ridges and tail rings, then add dark chocolate brown to the darkest tail sections and the tail tip.
- 4Color the round Omnitrix dial in the middle of the chest with lime green, and leave its dark outline visible.
- 5Leave the teeth in the mouth white, and keep the small bright highlights on the shoulders and chest white.
- 6Optional: Add a little extra shading with a darker brown along the edges of the tail and under the arms to add depth.
