Ice Cream Seller and Girl in a City Park
Coloring guide
An ice cream seller in a paper hat, bow tie and apron leans over his little cart to pass a scoopy cone to an excited girl. She reaches up with a big grin, wearing a short-sleeved top, a flared skirt and buckled shoes, and her hair is in a ponytail. The cart sits under a large scalloped umbrella, with three lidded tubs on top, three ice cream cone pictures on the front panel and a spoked wheel on the side. A leafy tree and a small bush frame the scene, and two pigeons walk along the paved path up front. Pink, mint and chocolate brown would make tasty scoops, and two cheerful colors in stripes will make the umbrella pop. Print the free PDF at home for an easy afternoon activity. This fits right in with our City coloring pages — see also Flowers and Forest.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big umbrella: color its stripes alternately red and leave the scalloped white panels white.
- 2Fill the ice cream cart's front with sky blue on the top band and lower stripe, keeping the middle panels white.
- 3Color the man's shirt and hat cream, his apron red, and his skin and face peach, leaving the bow tie cream.
- 4Add the girl's rose pink shirt, sky blue skirt, orange ponytail and peach skin, then color her socks cream and shoes rose pink.
- 5Color the wheel in charcoal gray with light blue spokes, use leaf green for the grass and bushes, and fill the pigeons with slate gray.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading under the umbrella and along the cart edges for depth, and keep the background white.
