Ice Cream Time on a Park Bench, Anime Style
Coloring guide
Long pigtails tied with bows frame this girl's big sparkly eyes as she sits on a slatted park bench, gripping a waffle cone topped with a scoop of ice cream in both hands. Her short-sleeved dress has a rounded collar, and she has knee socks and strap shoes on. Her open-mouthed grin says the treat is a hit. A fluffy-leaved tree and a small bush fill in behind her. Kids get roomy hair sections, a textured cone and sprinkles on the ice cream to work with, whether they pick pencils or markers. Pastel pink or mint green would suit the scoop, golden tan the cone, and any bright shade the hair bows. Print it free for a quiet afternoon at home or a classroom activity. Fans of Anime Style coloring pages often like PAW Patrol and Shopkins as well.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big bench areas: fill the backrest slats, seat and front panel in warm brown, and color the two legs dark gray.
- 2Color the hair in warm brown, including the pigtails, bangs and side strands, and leave a few small white streaks for shine.
- 3Fill the dress, sleeves and the dress top in baby pink, then color the face, neck, hands, forehead and legs in light peach.
- 4Add hot pink to the hair bows, shoe straps and the top scoop of ice cream, and use salmon for the open mouth and the cheek blush.
- 5Color the lower scoop cream and the waffle cone golden orange, keeping the collar, socks, shoe soles and background cloud white.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of warm brown on the hair and the bench for a bit of depth.
