Jesus / Bible Coloring Page: A Hug for a Little Boy on the Farm
Coloring guide
A bearded man in a long robe and sash bends down to give a small boy a hug, and both of them are smiling. The boy tips his head up and looks at him happily. A little spotted calf stands in the grass next to them, looking out toward you. Behind the group are a farmhouse with a chimney and a paned window, a wooden fence, a leafy tree on the right, and small bushes and grass tufts across the ground. Both of them wear sandals, a nice little detail to color. The big robes and open background are easy for small hands. Soft browns would work for the calf's patches and the fence, and bright greens for the tree and grass. Print it free for Sunday school or a quiet afternoon at home. Fans of Jesus / Bible coloring pages often like Flowers and Spring as well.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the boy's tunic and sleeve in sky blue, and the man's robe shoulders, strap and lower hem in crimson red.
- 2Fill the large robe body and the robe lower panels with cream, leaving the tree leaves and background white.
- 3Color the faces, hands, arms and feet in light peach, and the man's hair and beard in dark brown.
- 4Use brick red for the house roof and chimney, light blue for the windows, and sand tan for the fence posts and the calf's spots.
- 5Color the calf's body and legs in cream, its nose and cheeks in pale pink, and its hooves in dark brown; add grass green to the bushes and light green to the grass.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading under the robe folds and beside the boy's hair, and keep the eye whites white for sparkle.
