Jesus Sitting on a Rock With Four Children

A long-haired, bearded man in a robe with a wide sash sits on a rock outdoors while children gather around him. One small child with curly hair sits on his lap and smiles, and the man rests a hand on the child's side. A girl with a short bob stands behind them holding a little bunch of flowers. Another girl with long wavy hair stands in the front with her back to us, and a child in a belted tunic sits on the grass with one hand raised. Everyone wears sandals, and tufts of grass dot the ground. This free page works well for Sunday school lessons on Jesus welcoming children. Try coloring the flowers in bright shades, then ask kids to pick colors for the robe and sash and talk about why the children want to be close to him.
