Jolly Christmas Santa with Gift Sack and Snowflakes

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the face and skin: fill the face and ears with light peach, leaving the eyebrows, mustache and smile area white.
2. 2Color the big hat and its pompom bright red, then leave the fur trim at the brim and the pompom white.
3. 3Fill the coat, sleeves, mittens and pant legs with bright red, keeping the white beard, the white coat front panel, the white fur trims and the white cuffs untouched.
4. 4Color the gift sack chocolate brown and the sack tie in the same brown; add the gifts in royal blue, forest green, golden yellow, hot pink, deep purple, olive brown and warm tan, with red bows on the top gifts.
5. 5Color the boots and boot soles charcoal or steel gray, and fill the belt with charcoal and the buckle with golden yellow.
6. 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the red coat and the brown sack to make the folds pop, and finish with a few snowflakes in light blue or leave them white.
