Coloring guide

A Jolteon crouches low with its front legs stretched forward, as if ready to pounce. The drawing uses bold black shapes and thin white gaps, almost like a stencil. Two tall pointed ears have solid black insides. The face has narrow, slanted eyes, a tiny nose and a small closed mouth with a slight frown. Sharp, jagged spikes of fur burst out around the neck, chest and back, and a few long streaks trail off the front paw. The paws show short toe lines. You can print it free and let kids pick a bright yellow for the fur spikes, then decide whether to color the black ear centers or leave them dark. Because the spikes are so angular, it also gives younger children good practice with careful, short pencil strokes and staying inside narrow shapes.
