Five young players are jumping for joy, and the boy in the middle lifts a big trophy cup over his head. The rest throw their fists up and grin with open mouths. They wear button-up jerseys, belted pants, high socks and cleats, and the player in front has a cap on. Three caps and three gloves are flying through the air above the group. Behind them you'll see a dugout bench, a chain-link fence, bushes, a tall stadium light and a few clouds. At the bottom, home plate, a bat, a baseball and one more glove lie in the grass. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the grass and bushes in the background using grass green and forest green, and fill the sky with sky blue.
- 2Color the skin of all five kids with pale peach, and use caramel for the curly-haired boy's face and the boy's hair.
- 3Fill the caps with cherry red and the baseball gloves with chocolate brown, leaving the cap tops and clouds white.
- 4Color the red stripes and sleeves on the jerseys with cherry red, and color the trophy cup with golden yellow and its base with the same yellow.
- 5Use light tan for the front boy's cap brim and the bat, and ivory for home plate.
- 6Optional: Add a little caramel shading on the kids' arms and legs, and leave eye whites, smiles and the uniforms white for a clean look.
