Judas Kisses Jesus in the Garden at Night
Coloring guide
A robed man with a halo stands in the center of the page while a curly-haired, bearded man leans in to kiss his cheek. The two are clasping hands low in front of them. Behind them a crowd of bearded men in head coverings and draped cloaks presses in under tall trees. Some hold staffs, one raises a lit torch on the right, and a soldier in a crested helmet looks down with a sword at his side. More torches and faces fill the background between the trunks. This free printable fits a Good Friday lesson on the arrest of Jesus. Try coloring the torch flames in warm oranges against dark green and blue trees to show it is nighttime, then talk about why the kiss is such a sad moment in the story.
