Juggling Clown in Polka Dot Pants, The Greatest Showman
Coloring guide
This smiling clown tosses five round striped balls in a wide arc over his head, and a dashed line traces their path. He has a floppy pointed hat with a pom-pom, a big bow tie and ruffled cuffs, plus curly hair puffing out on both sides, a round nose and big eyes. Suspenders hold up his baggy polka dot pants over a buttoned top, and one oversized shoe kicks out to the side as he dances. Stars and scattered confetti fill the space around him. The large dots and balls are easy for small hands. Red and yellow for the dots on the pants work well, with something contrasting like blue or purple for the bow tie. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big areas: color the clown's face and cheeks with light peach, leaving the white makeup around the mouth and the gloves white.
- 2Fill the curly hair on both sides and the top of the hat brim with tangerine orange, then color the hat with cherry red and its band with bright blue.
- 3Color the shirt, sleeves and shoes in golden yellow, and the cuffs in sky blue, keeping the gloves white.
- 4Fill the baggy pants with bright blue, then add the polka dots: golden yellow, cherry red, leaf green, brick red and lime yellow in a fun mix.
- 5Color the bow tie and the balls in the air, using bright blue, cherry red, leaf green and golden yellow, then add the coral pink nose and the cherry red smile.
- 6Optional: Add charcoal gray soles on the shoes and finish the little confetti pieces and stars in matching colors.
