Jump Rope Fun in the Backyard Coloring Page For Kids
Coloring guide
Mid-leap, a smiling girl with a high ponytail and wavy, shoulder-length hair swings her jump rope in a big loop under her feet. She has on a short-sleeved t-shirt, cuffed shorts, socks and chunky sneakers, and her wide grin shows she's having a great time. A small house with a chimney, a four-pane window and a door sits behind her, along with a round bush and a leafy tree with a thick trunk. Tufts of grass speckle the lawn, and the rope swings over a paved or tiled area up front. Large shapes and clean lines make this a good choice for younger kids with crayons or chunky markers. A sunny yellow shirt, sky-blue shorts and a few shades of green for the tree and grass would look cheerful. Print this free page for an easy afternoon activity. - 2Fill the sidewalk and ground strip with light gray, then color the house wall with pale yellow and the roof with tomato red.
- 3Color the face, arms, legs, and neck with peach skin, keeping the eye whites, socks, and shoe soles white.
- 4Use chestnut brown for the hair and ponytail, tan brown for the tree trunk, and hot pink for the t-shirt and shoes, with a baby pink hair tie.
- 5Color the shorts lavender purple, the door and rope handles sky blue, the window panes light blue, and the chimney tomato red.
- 6Optional: add soft darker strokes to the hair and leave small white highlights on the hair and tree edges for a shiny look.
