Kids at Birthday Table with Candle Cake

A boy in a floppy tasseled cap stands behind a table and carries a round cake with five lit candles and a row of little flowers piped around the side. Two girls sit in front of him with curly hair and ruffled dresses. The girl on the left wears a hat with a fringed top and rests her hands together near her chest. The girl on the right wears a tall cone hat covered in stars and holds her hands out toward the cake. On the table you will find two plates with small cone-shaped treats, two glasses, a spoon, a bowl of roses, and two wrapped party crackers. An open door and a framed flower picture fill the wall behind them. Try giving the star hat a bright color and shading the roses in two or three shades of pink. This printable page also works well for counting the five candles with younger kids.
