Kids Crafting Valentine's Day Hearts at the Table

Both smiling, a boy in a hoodie snips a paper heart with scissors while a girl with long hair and a flower clip squeezes glue onto a heart card. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background areas: color the sky in the window light sky blue, the grassy bush in lime green, and the wooden table in wood tan.
- 2Fill the boy's royal blue hoodie and the girl's bubblegum pink sweater, then add the chocolate brown hair on the boy and peach skin tones on the hands and neck.
- 3Color the girl's long hair golden yellow, leaving the little white highlights, and add the cat and the pencil cup in chocolate brown and golden yellow.
- 4Add the hearts: red hearts on the cards and in the small pile, purple and pink hearts in the middle, and the card borders in lemon yellow and lavender purple.
- 5Finish the details last: the teal paper scrap, the crayons, the book spines and the flowers on the curtains, keeping the glue bottle and window frame white.
- 6Optional: Add a light shadow on one side of each heart with a slightly darker shade of the same color to make them pop.
