Kids in Party Hats Gathered Around Birthday Cake

Five children in cone-shaped party hats crowd around a two-layer birthday cake topped with five lit candles. The cake has wavy frosting drips on each tier and sits on a plate. Two kids in the back row and one on the left lean in with big open-mouth smiles, while the two kids in front are seen from the side, facing the cake. One of the front children holds a small cup. Each hat has its own pattern, including polka dots, stripes, zigzags and pom-pom or bow tops. The freckled boy on the right has dotted cheeks. This free printable page is a nice fit for a birthday party activity table. Try giving every hat a different color scheme and then let kids choose the cake flavor by coloring the layers, perhaps pink strawberry on the bottom and chocolate on top. Count the five candles together too.
