At a table with a scalloped tablecloth, a smiling boy and girl sit side by side, each holding a paintbrush and carefully decorating an egg. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big areas: color the boy's hair and the large bowl in chestnut brown, and the vase in light blue.
- 2Fill the boy's shirt and sleeves with sky blue, and the girl's dress with coral pink, leaving the white collars untouched.
- 3Color the girl's hair and headband area with golden yellow, and the faces, necks and hands with light peach, keeping the eye whites white.
- 4Paint the eggs: make the red egg bright red with white dots, the purple striped egg violet purple, and the green egg emerald green. Use coral pink for the striped egg and lemon yellow for the spotted one.
- 5Add the chairs in caramel orange, the small bowl of water in pale blue, and the paint pots and flower petals in white or plum purple as shown.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the hair and eggs with the same color for a softer, more natural look.
