Kids Splashing Through a Summer Sprinkler
Coloring guide
A smiling boy and girl leap with their arms thrown high while water sprays around them from a sprinkler in the grass. He wears loose swim trunks with side stripes and a drawstring. She has a ponytail and a polka-dot two-piece swimsuit with side ties. Both are barefoot, mid-jump and laughing. Beneath them, a round sprinkler on a garden hose shoots up a fan of droplets, and big teardrop splashes fill the sky. In the background are a wooden picket fence, a few flowers on each side and small tufts of grass. There are lots of drops to color on this free printable. Light and medium blues suit the water, with yellow and pink for the flowers and the girl's polka dots so her swimsuit stands out from the splashes. - 2Color the boy's swim shorts bright blue and the girl's bikini top and bottom bubblegum pink, leaving the small white polka dots.
- 3Color the boy's hair chestnut brown, and fill the girl's hair, ponytail and hair ties with golden yellow.
- 4Color the garden fence with wheat tan, use pale cream on a few sections, and fill the flower leaves and bushes with grass green.
- 5Color the sprinkler base medium gray, its top and ring golden yellow, the hose forest green, and the water spray light green, leaving the background white.
- 6Optional: add a few light shadows under the kids and along the hose with a slightly darker shade of the same colors for depth.
