Kitten in a Helmet Skateboarding Past a House
Coloring guide
In this free printable, a smiling kitten in a safety helmet rolls down a curved path on a skateboard. The little cat has big sparkly eyes, whiskers, a tiny open mouth and a long curling tail, with all four paws planted on the board. Behind her is a simple house with a chimney, a door and a square window, along with a wooden picket fence, round bushes and small tufts of grass lining the path. Bold outlines and large shapes make it easy for preschoolers and early elementary kids to stay inside the lines. Turquoise or red would work well for the helmet. You could add orange tabby stripes on her forehead and paint each skateboard wheel a different color. Love this Skateboarding coloring page? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background areas: color the grass green on the lawn and bushes, and fill the house walls pale yellow.
- 2Color the kitten's body, face, tail and legs golden orange, leaving the white patch behind the neck and the eye whites untouched.
- 3Fill the helmet and its strap and collar sky blue, then use royal blue for the skateboard deck.
- 4Add the roof and wheels bright red, the door and forehead stripe chocolate brown, and the window panes light blue.
- 5Use medium gray for the wheel centers and axles, and pale tan for the deck edge.
- 6Optional: Add a little light gray shading under the paws and a touch of blush pink inside the ears and the tongue for extra cuteness.
