Skateboarding Safety Gear Set: Helmet and Pads
Coloring guide
A full set of skateboarding protection puts safety first in this free printable. A rounded helmet with oval vent holes and a chin strap sits at the top. Underneath are two larger pads and two smaller ones, each with a hard center cap, small round rivets and stretchy straps. At the bottom lies a classic skateboard with four wheels, a pointed nose and tiny grip-tape dots. No people or scenery appear, so kids can focus on the gear alone. Color the helmet and pads in matching bright shades, say electric blue with lime green straps, and let the deck have a wild pattern with a different color on each wheel. It's handy for a lesson on wearing protective gear, or for a young skater who likes designing their own equipment. This fits right in with our Skateboarding coloring pages — see also NHL / Hockey and American Football.

- 2Fill the inside of the helmet and its buckles with charcoal gray, then add bright red straps along the sides.
- 3Color the skateboard deck bright red, keeping the small grip dots white.
- 4Fill the centers of both elbow pads and both knee pads with golden yellow, leaving the small round dots white.
- 5Color the outer cuffs and lower bands of the pads grass green, and the middle bands royal blue.
- 6Finish the four wheels in orange, color the truck parts medium gray, and leave the background white. Optional: add a little darker shading along the bottom edges of the pads and helmet for depth.
