This friendly word page shows a smiling kitten with big sparkly eyes, pointed ears and long whiskers, resting both paws on top of the letter T. The three chunky bubble letters C, A and T spell CAT in the lower left, and the A has a small hole to color around. Behind the T, the kitten's fluffy tail curls up, and its back paws peek out at the bottom next to a simple ground line. There's no other background, so there's lots of open space for little hands. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big letter C in sky blue, the letter A in golden yellow, and the letter T in bright green, leaving the small triangle inside the A white.
- 2Fill the kitten's head, body, back leg, and cheek fur with warm orange, keeping the eye shines white.
- 3Color the insides of both ears in light pink and the small nose in rose pink.
- 4Fill the front paws, the back paw, and the leg peeking out behind the T in cream.
- 5Leave the eye shines, the gaps between the letter legs, and the bottom gap of the T white so the drawing stays crisp.
- 6Optional: add light shading with a slightly deeper orange along the edges of the kitten to give it some depth.
