Labrador Retriever Lying in a Grassy Field
Coloring guide
A Labrador retriever lies on the ground with its front paws stretched out ahead and its head tilted slightly to one side. The mouth is open with the tongue hanging out, which gives the dog a happy, friendly look. Floppy ears frame the face, and there are short fur lines on the chest and legs. The tail rests low along the ground behind the body. Behind the dog, rolling hills stretch across the page, with a small bush on the left and bumpy treetops or ridges on the right. A few tufts of pointed grass sit in the foreground. This printable page works well for practicing shading. Try a dark brown, black, or golden yellow coat, then leave the fur lines a little darker for texture. Greens and light blues for the hills and sky would finish the scene nicely.
